The eleventh National Art Exhibition in China was held
On December 25th, 2009, The eleventh National Art Exhibition in China, which is also named the First China Art Award • Creative Awards exhibition was held in the China Art Gallery. The exhibition, organized by the Culture Ministry of The People's Republic of China, Literary and Art Federation in China, and the Chinese Artists Association, is one of the most important exhibitions to celebtrate the 60th birthday of The People's Republic of China.
Wu Changjiang, the vice chairman of the Artists Association of China, chair the opening ceremony. Then Liu Dawei, Feng Yuan, Wang Wenzhang gave a speech each as the representatives of the organizers. 568 works were showed, including 153 works winning the China Art Award • Creative Awards and another 415 works winning the Nomination Award.
The Designed exhibition was placed on the fifth floor of China Art Gallery, including Industrial Design exhibition, Clothing Design exhibition, Graphic Design exhibition and Living Design exhibition. The exhibits are selected out of the pavilion and the outstanding award-winning works.The exhibition will continue until February 3rd, 2010.
