Plenary Meeting of Zhuangshi Editorial Board in 2009
Plenary Meeting of Zhuangshi Editorial Board in 2009 was held on November 17th, in Beijing Fragrant Hill Hotel. This is the first plenary meeting after the replacement of editorial board, which emphasized the important role of the editorial board, saying the views of the editorial board members will contribute to the development of Zhuangshi. The roles of the editorial board were also passed.
The new editorial board members include Wang Mingzhi, Fang Xiaofeng, Li Dangqi, Zheng ShuYang, Hang Jian, Zhao Meng, Bao Lin, Shang Gang, Liu Guanzhong, Lu Xiaobo, Song Jianming, Lau Xiaokang, Wang Dawei, He Jie, Lv Jingren, Chen Jinhai and Zhao Jian. They are all well-known design art experts, scholars, or leaders in various fields in China.
Editorial board members exchanged ideas with focus on the direction of Zhuangshi in the future. They also made recommendations for how Zhuangshi could play a significant role as a design media platform. The meeting summed up the work of 2007 ~ 2009 and discussed the 12 special topics of the next year.
With the birth of No.200, Zhuangshi will enter a new phase. It will continue to maintain its academic standards, try to expand the scope of readers, and move towards the overseas market. In addition, Zhuangshi English site is also under construction, scheduling to open on December 11, 2009.
